Tweezerman ProCurl Eyelash Curler Review

Ever since I’m introduced to make up, I’ve always like to splurge on some brands which delivers quality/result that I really like, but I also save some money by buying low-end/drugstore ones instead, and eyelash curler has always been one of those. I don’t take curling eyelashes seriously, as I always wear mascara and I thought it’s good enough. I always end up curling with those cheap curler and by the end of the day it always wears off and it frustrates me. So when I walked into Sephora store, I finally decided to take the plunge and got myself a (quite) high end eyelash curler, which is this Tweezerman ProCurl.

What I like about this curler is because it’s rose gold! I love the sleek and shiny tools and this will look so pretty in my make up bag. It also comes with 3 replacement pads which I think it’s a lot and worth the money spent as it will last you through the year without the hassle having to get a replacement pads yourself like other curlers (other curlers usually only give you 1-2 pads).

I tried it on my naked eyes and it works wonders. It surprisingly still stays on for few hours after I wore it, so I’m quite satisfied with the result. One thing for sure that it doesn’t pinch my eye like other cheap curlers did. So for those who has short lashes like me, this will be a great product to get, considering Asian eyelashes are quite hard to catch sometimes and it often pinches your eyes because you have to wear it quite close to your eyes.

The downside of this curler to me has to be the pricepoint, considering so many people rave about E.l.f. eyelash curler which costs around $1, this has definitely set me back at first.. But if you’re looking for a good curler, and by that I also mean a GOOD-looking one, this one sure wins them all with its rose gold sleek body. And it has 3 replacement pads! So for someone like me who won’t use this everyday (stay-at-home mom soon :D) I believe this would last me a very long time, and for these reasons I do recommend you guys to get one because apart from being pretty, this curler does an excellent job as well!

TGIF everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Review : Blinc Mascara Amplified

As I promised in the previous post, I would like to give my review on this Blinc mascara that I just got last week.

Blinc Mascara Amplified¬† is a waterproof and flake-proof mascara that coats your lashes. What I love about this is because it’s not as wet as other mascara, you could easily reapply and build volume and length as much needed without any mess. I feel that this mascara create like some sort of fiber or they call it ‘tubes’ around the lashes so it create the volume, thick effect on your lashes and at the same time elongate your lashes. Like mentioned earlier, it’s waterproof and flake proof so even when I cry or accidentally rub on it, it wont smudge! What’s even greater is that even though it’s waterproof, it’s so easy to remove. Just rinse off with warm water and rub lightly around your eye area and everything will come off easily.

This is my before and after pic using the Blinc Mascara Amplified. Do note that in this picture I applied it twice. I think you could apply more to build more volume. And also for me being Asian, my eyelashes might not look as dramatic compare to other Blinc users/reviews, but to me it still works wonder. DSC04459

Benebalm by Benefit

Benefit has just launched new tinted lip balms on early June in Singapore, and since I was in town, I decided to get one. As a religious user of Benetint, I’m pretty excited to try this one on.

Benebalm is a lip balm with rose tinted color when applied. This tinted balm comes with the same shades that compliment their lip stain products. I personally picked this color, because I’ve been using my Benetint, and this Benebalm goes really well when applied together on my lips.

I hope this review is helpful and if rose color isn’t really suitable for you, there’s still other great shades to choose from!

Have a nice weekend everyone!
